I spent the month of July 2025 driving the Dempster Highway, which starts just outside of Dawson City, YK, and ends in Tuktoyaktuk, NWT. This famous Canadian Highway is a gruelling 736km gravel road that carves through the mountains. The majority of the drive has no service, and you have to rely heavily on maps and your satellite phone in cases of emergency. It was a wonderful adventure...but one I would not do again.
